I don’t know what it is, but it seems like everyone is having babies this month! I know, at most, three soon-to-be-mothers who will be giving birth or already gave birth this month. I was excited when Hannah messaged me to take her maternity portraits. It’s been a while since I’ve seen her. The last time I saw her she didn’t have a baby bump! This was the first time I actually visited her house, and I already love what she’s done to it! Hannah and Mark are so sweet and perfect together. I remember going to Blue Mountain with her and a few others. I know I had a great time because, until now, all I remember was laughing the whole trip! I can’t wait until I meet their little one.

At the end of February, I captured a Greek Orthodox christening event. This was the second time I shot a christening at the same beautiful chapel. The first time was with Elias Christos. This time around, Christos’ cousins – TWINS. Anastasia, Christos’ mom, highly recommended me to her brother-in-law, Paul. Though, I still haven’t had a chance to take the twin’s baby portrait session yet, I will post the christening first. I had Heidi come along and help me cover the event.

It was a cloudy day, as I remember, and I thought I wouldn’t get a lovely lighting like last year. The chapel, St. Nicholas, was still bright with all the natural light coming in and filling the beautiful interior. It wasn’t the golden glow I had last year but it was still nice and soft.

Nicholas and Paulina Irene are so adorable! There was definitely some crying involved in these types of events. But I’m not complaining because it adds more mood to the photos. Nicholas was more of the calm and collected and Paulina Irene is the mommy’s girl. She cried when she was not in her mother’s arms. It was cute how she quickly stopped crying when she was back in her mother’s arms. Check out the photos to see how much fun Nicholas had!

Cupcake Monster / Little Giggles

Minh Thu is an adorable little girl. She’s only 2 years old and she’s very cooperative, of course because of the cupcakes

“Mommy, I want to be a model again“.

When I heard that I got excited and wanted to squeeze her, ugh I love her! Too bad, she’s at the other end of the city. Anyway, the cupcakes were delicious! Cupcakes were from So Into Cupcakes and the flavor we had was Strawberry Shortcake, yummm! Minh Thu totally loved the cupcakes! It was cute how she was eating it, she was picking the bread first instead of the icing. Usually, children would pick on the icing first. Wish I had some right now… Enough of me drooling, here are some of my faves!

Okay, so I updated the blog a little bit

So after posting up the photos of Noah, I ended up going over to her place that night and lucky me I had my camera and lighting equipment in the trunk! I guess I really did owe her a visit! haha. So I took some photos, not much though since Noah was getting a lil’ cranky, he’s still adorable. When I entered the house, Noah was hyper and excited. He was showing us his room and books, what a cutie!

Afterward, Noah had to go with his grandfather. The girls, Regine, Ariane and I, went to Best Buy to get a digital camera for Regine’s boyfriend and then Go for Tea! We had some bubble tea and food because we were so hungry!

This was taken a year ago, but I thought I’d put it up since I haven’t posted up my gallery of previous work yet. I came across this one and I miss the kid. His name is Noah, btw. I’m a very close friend to his mother, Regine. We went to high school together. I owe them a visit anytime soon! Hopefully, I can do another portrait of Noah, he’s just too adorable!
