I had a shooting marathon this weekend! I love it! I shot a wedding on Friday and Saturday, then Sunday I did a family portraits session for Brian, Merielle, and Little Sophia! They came all the way from London, England! Hopefully I get to visit them in the near future

. They’ve always wanted to get some family portraits done since last year but we didn’t get around to it because Brian got sick

, but I don’t blame him because these things happen out of nowhere. But this time we finally got around to shooting their family portraits, yay! We went to two locations: Milliken Park and Main Street Unionville – perfect setting for family portraits. Merielle (Meng) and I were usually talking on Blackberry messenger about photography and getting their family portraits done. I finally got to meet little Sophia, she’s adorable and knows how to act! She’s also a cute drama queen! She cried for a second and then she stopped and puts her face down on her dad’s lap. I wish I got a video of that to show everyone! They’re leaving for London, England tomorrow so I am glad that I am able to give them a little souvenir and memories

.  I don’t like forcing kids to do anything, I let them do what they normally do naturally. I feel that I can capture their personality that way. If I need them somewhere I ask them nicely, obviously I won’t be able to do this with babies (babies are a little more flexible since they can’t run around yet, hehe).

Beejay and MaryAnne asked me to take their engagement photos since they didn’t have any before their wedding, August 30, 2009. So, I went on and did their sketches for the engagement photoshoot and had planned where to go as well, Milliken Park. I was happy that it was a nice day that day. They’re so sweet!
