Fave Fridays again! Yay! This post will talk about one of my favourite “past time“. lol. PINTEREST!

I am so addicted to Pinterest! It’s basically, pinning your interests. I find a lot of inspiration on the web and Pinterest helps me keep a “scrapbook” of them. Categorized. Nice layout. Good UI (user interface). And it’s easy! I tend to be a forgetful person. So when I try to reference something but I forgot how it looks but I know I “pinned” it, I can easily go back and look for it. Get inspired along the way. Sometimes I see a pose that I like or lighting that I like. A few weeks later, my mind is juggling other things. I think to myself, “I know I wanted to try something new…“. Anyway, I’ve had Pinterest for a couple of months now and I’ve been pinning like crazy! Okay, maybe not so crazy because I don’t want to not be able to find anything with the mass amount of pins. But it’s definitely more than enough and still “pinning”! So I have this one category called “Wedding” – this is where I keep my inspiration and ideas for my future wedding and for my brides-to-be. You can say this is my inspiration board.

Well, not literally. Lol. The weather is warming up and it’s time for those sexy dresses and little shorts. Oh and don’t forget the bikinis. It is the first day of June and more people are getting out of their hibernation. Well, from what I can see on the streets when I’m driving. You know, I would love to spend every day at the beach but that’s not likely because I don’t tan easily – I actually burn easily. That’s not very attractive when I start peeling. Yeah you know what I’m talking about… I recently went to New York City about a week and a half ago to attend a wedding as a guest at Crest Hollow Country Club (gorgeous venue!). When we got to New York it was a little chilly, but on the actual wedding day they were blessed with perfect weather since the cocktail hour was outdoors. Anyway, I was able to spend some time with my family and do a little bit of shopping and tourist-ing. We also visited Boston, Massachusetts. Guess where we went? Harvard University. We just went to Harvard Square to eat. We visited a few places like TD Gardens, New England Aquarium, and did a little bit of shopping. On the way home I was dropped off at the Buffalo airport to catch my flight to Orlando, Florida. Lucas had already flown there the Sunday and I flew on Tuesday. We decided to go to a Sunny destination for his birthday. So yes, we went to the Sunshine State! They picked me up from Orlando airport and had lunch. Then, we went straight to Universal Studios! It was my first time going and I had so much fun! I felt like a kid again. Not that I’m saying I’m old but you know, younger. Lol. The next day we went to Aquatica by Seaworld. It felt so nice to be in cool water under the hot sun. Oh and I would like to think that I got tanned, but no one believes me. Okay, maybe I went half a shade darker. Afterwards, we went to dinner for Lucas’ birthday. I chose where to eat. It was my first time in Orlando. So I went on to Urbanspoon to look for a place. I went for Dragonfly Modern Izakaya & Sushi. I wanted to try their robata grill dishes. AND, it looked like a nice place to celebrate. I didn’t actually bring my SLR on this trip since I wanted to pack light and also enjoy the parks and time with Lucas and his mom. I did take some photos on my iPhone but I will upload when I get the chance. I did get him a lil’ something as a surprise: just a Louis Vuitton wallet and a Lacoste belt for when he golfs. But spending time with him was better than any presents.

P.S. Do you find it hard to buy presents for guys?

Oh yes, the photo on the right was a candid from a client’s shoot. It was a cloudy day and it was spitting rain. Near sunset, I believe.
